Hypnobirthing 101

The full Hypnobirthing programme

This programme is ideal for expectant parents who want to immerse themselves in all things hypnobirthing and birth preparation. Perfect if this is your first experience with hypnobirthing! This course is designed for you and your birth partner, and the price is per couple.

This is a face to face course delivered in small groups of up to three couples in a welcoming and relaxed studio in Great Dunmow​

 

The course is taught over 8-10 hours, and you will learn: 

​

  • The basic physiology of birth and how to support your body to promote a gentle, safe, calm and comfortable birth experience

  • How to release any fears that may be associated with childbirth and avoid the ‘fear, tension, pain syndrome’

  • How to relax deeply and quickly using the breathing techniques, visualisations and Mp3’s

  • How to promote the production of your birthing hormones

  • How to prepare a birth plan so that you can be informed and in control of your birth

  • To understand your rights during birth and your options surrounding place of birth, pain relief, interventions and more

  • The knowledge and power to navigate birth should you require intervention or assistance

  • Positions to help you birth your baby more easily and comfortably

  • Practical ways your birth partner can support you

  • What happens after you have birthed your baby?

With the Hypnobirthing 101 course, you will receive: 

  • 8-10 hours of teaching for you and your birth partner, spread over 4 relaxed and engaging sessions with snacks and drinks provided

  • 5 guided hypnosis and relaxation MP3's to support your practice, with an additional affirmations audio track

  • A hard copy of the client manual which follows the course and includes a practice diary

  • Supporting materials such as birth plan checklist, hospital checklist, information on positive births

  • A welcome pack including treats for you and baby

  • Continued support from me via message / phone up until the birth of your baby and beyond
